People aren’t usually going to forget towels but, you could if you wanted to. Most beaches have an area when you can rent or purchase promotional beach towels. Having promotional beach towels that are specifically for your trips to the beach will ensure that your bath towels stay in tact. If every member of the family has one then each person can be responsible for their own towel and it makes it a lot easier.

Use Seat and Floor Covers
After you leave the beach, everyone should rinse off in the showers that are usually provided along the back wall of the beach. However, you aren’t going to be able to get off all the sand and everyone is going to be wet from the shower. Cover up your seats and floors with disposable plastic material to protect the upholstery. It might not be the most comfortable ride home but at least the car will be kept nice. Once you arrive home and everyone goes inside, you can just throw away the plastic covers.

Cover the House Floors
As you leave the house before you head at to the beach, line the floor from the entry way to the bathrooms with towels. If you have carpet it will protect it from getting wet as your troops head to the showers. If you have wood flooring, those wood slats should stay as dry as possible. Tile and marble floors can becoming very slippery and dangerous when they are wet. Once everyone has passed through, just scoop up the towels and throw them in the wash with everyone beach clothes.

Research Tips and Hacks
There are a ton of things on the Internet that will help you at the beach. For example, putting your money and other personal affects in a cleaned out suntan lotion bottle or how to keep promotional beach towels in good condition so you can take them back. There are other ideas to, like how to keep sand out of your book or how to position yourself so that you tan evenly. There might be some ideas of games that you can play depending on the age of the people coming with or the size of the group.

Know the Safety Protocols
One of the most important things that you should know is that while the beach is extremely fun, it does pose some danger factors. There are rip tides, currents, possibly sharks, sand bugs and other things that you should be aware of. If you know how to handle the situations or recognize them then it won’t be that big of a deal and you’ll still be able to have fun and not really think about the dangers. However, as the parent or adult of the group, you need to be well versed in every potential danger that might be at the beach that you are going to. Each beach might have a few different danger factors. You should also learn the flag colors. Lifeguards will set up flags depending on the type of weather, water patterns and dangers that might be around.
